For this project I was a little nervous on how I would communicate my message but I tried my best and am happy with my final project. I wanted to create something that felt and sounded nostalgic. I wanted it to feel like a summer day; birds chirping, guitar strumming, crickets singing, water bubbling in a nearby stream. I also included laughter that I captured of my friends and even included us singing happy birthday. I wanted it to feel coming of age and light and summery. I think I did my best I could at communicating that feeling. I think next time I would have tried to compose it more cohesively versus random but I still am happy with the soundscape. I really liked getting to learn about adobe audition and play with sound editing. I used effects such as "AM radio" to mimic that distant nostalgic feel I was trying to communicate.
